Smoothie Bowls Are My Current Obsession

I have put on a lot of weight during the past two years and with a health scare a few months back, I knew I had to be a ✨healthier✨ person.  

First, I started with getting back into working out, I’m down to do any dance work out I can find on YouTube, I just had to get back to doing them regularly.  

Secondly, the food apps had to go. The number of fish/chicken and chips I was ordering, sometime three times a week (so bad I know but it tastes so good 🙁). Once I had curbed the takeaway addiction, I started to feel a lot better.  

Next step cutting down how much alcohol 🍹 I drank, I think most of us was guilty of this one during lockdown. It became such a bad habit every time I saw a new TikTok cocktail, I had to try it. 

To be honest with you, just doing this alone I did lose a little bit of weight. Yet I needed to do more not only to ✨feel better physically but mentally✨ as well. This is where I am now, I need to really look at what I’m eating and how much I eat.  

So, I stated with breakfast🥐🥞🥓 of course! I had heard of smoothie bowls before I just never had tried it. I was coming across a few Açai bowls recipes that I wanted to attempt but I didn’t know where I could buy Açai.  

That’s were AmaVida 🙌 comes in, I found them on google and started looking at their Instagram. Within five minutes I was on the site making an order. At the moment of making this post they had a sale going on and you know I love a bargain. 

You really are spoilt for choice they have a good range of frozen products from Açai packs to Dragon Fruit cubes, Blueberry drops to Coconut, Lime, Mango and my personal favourite Banana drops. All easy to just pop into your blender add your toppings and enjoy👌.  

I got the smoothie bowl started pack for one with a coconut bowl for £42, it came next day free delivery. With this bundle I received:  

1 organic premium Açai pack (400g) 

1 organic Dragon Fruit cubes pack (400g) 

1 Banana one pack (400g) 

1 Mango one pack (400g) 

1 Coconut shell bowl and wooden spoon  

1 Cardamom & Apricot granola (300g) 

How I like to make my smoothie bowls, is with protein powder and yogurt. I feel full and I don’t feel the need to have any snacks before lunch🤞. 

I tired Açai bowl first with Banana drops, i topped if off with ✨fresh fruit✨ the granola and some goji berries oh and a drizzle of peanut butter.

Cause I’m feeling generous I’ll share the Dragon Fruit bowl too😊, I added Mango drops and Banana drops as well as the protein powder and yogurt. This time I topped it with some Toasted Oats, Desiccated Coconut, Kiwi, Passion Fruit and Banana.

Smoothie bowls are what I’m having all most every morning these days, finding a site like AmaVida has been a huge help for me getting more into them and I definitely👍 will be ordering from them again.
