Full Face Using e.l.f Cosmetics

So a few weeks back I was tiding up my makeup area and found and e.l.f primer and foundation that got stuck at the back of the draw. That’s when I remembered I wanted to try out more from the brand.

Luckily for me at the time they were having a sale and offering two free gifts with every order over £25, but regardless I had notice that the prices are really affordable regardless of the sale. Of course with everything going on in the world right now, there is a waring message that the order was going to take longer than usual but I was ok with that.

I made my order on the 25.04.20 and received it by the 09.05.20, so two weeks roughly. Well what did I order you ask, I got everything for a full face so I could do a day and night look.

As I already had a primer and foundation I didn’t need to look for them so I bought, Instant Lift Brow Pencil in deep brown, Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil in coffee, Lip Lacquer in Love Bite, Matte Lip Color in Wine, Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji Matte, Baked Highlighter in Apricot Glow, Moisturizing Lipstick in Ravishing Rose, Translucent Mattifying Powder, 16HR Camo Concealer in Deep Chestnut, Bite-Size Eyeshadows in truffles and for my two free gifts I picked Prismatic Highlighting Stick and Volumizing & Defining Mascara.

For my day time look as we are lockdown I kept it simple. First I started with the Poreless Putty Primer, I do feel like it does leave a white ashy cast over my face but after a good rub in it calms down. I was really impressed but the concealer I used it to hid any dark marks before foundation and to clean up my brows.

The Flawless Finish Foundation is light weight and full coverage, when I first bought it, it was a tad too light for me but as I haven’t seen the sun in three months its suits me now. The contour was too light for me so I used it as a eyeshadow and a little bit round my nose but the blush, I’m in love! definitely will be using this blush more often.

I highlighted with the Baked Highlighter in Apricot Glow and this was another huge win for me, I really liked how it looks on my skin tone and its perfect for day time/ no makeup make up look. I Lightly used the powder as again it looked too ashy and finished off my look with the Lip Lacquer and a touch of mascara.

When it came for me to do an evening look, I did the same routine for my face as for the day. For my eyes I used the Bite-Size Eyeshadows in truffles to be honest I wasn’t to sure about it at first glance, but again I was impressed with the pigment and how well it blended. I lined my eyes with the waterproof liner and smoked it out, again I used Volumizing & Defining Mascara to finish off my eyes. This time I highlighted with Prismatic Highlighting Stick, it looks really white in the pictures but its very sheer in person and it blends out easily with a purple tint. I lined my lips with the matte stick and used the lipstick in the middle.

I wanted you to see my looks with no filters, cause I wanted the true nature of the make up to be seen. If you look closely you can see in my first look around my lips the make up started to crease, I’m not sure if that was down to me or the makeup itself. But I was still impressed and I didn’t brake out from anything.

Should I try more from e.l.f? would you guys like a video of more details on how I did my looks? let me know on my socials below.
