So recently I have seen a surge of these tattoo brows products come up, as I wasn’t sure if they would work on my skin tone I didn’t want to spend a lot. I came across the Maybelline Tattoo Eyebrow Tint in dark brown and gave it a go.

So here is a close up of my brows. To be honest, I tested this out the other day just to make sure they did fall off and you can still see a hit of the tint. When it started to fade out it was still doing its purpose and my brows still looked filled. But I feel it didn’t last the 3 days it was meant to last. This may be due to all the face scrubs I use as I have oily skin and it needs a lot of cleansing.

The instructions are easy to follow just apply to clean brows in the desired shape. I recommend applying it on thick as that way its easier to peel off when dry, side note if you find you made any mistakes just wipe off with a wet cotton bud.

You can leave it on for 20 minutes, 2 hours or overnight, of course, the longer you leave it the longer the effects will last. 20 minutes will get you about 1 day before it starts to fade, 2 hours to overnight should give you 3 full days before it fades.

So once you are ready just peel it off (I left min on for 2 hours), it comes off hassle free and it doesn’t pull any hairs out. I really do like the look of my brows, I think dark brown works best for how I like my brows to look, some people may like there’s darker.

So my final thoughts, do I like this product? yes and I would recommend it? yes. The only issue I have is that for me it faded faster then lasting 3 days. After reading the box more carefully, it does say not to use any cleansers in the first 24 hours so that’s where I was going wrong.
