The time has come and the Powder Puff Lippie has finally come to the UK! I have been eagerly waiting from the first Instagram post, and now I have my hands on 4 out of 8 powder lip creams.

I chose 2 nudes and 2 reds that I thought would best suit me. So a quick description they feature a pillowy cushion-applicator that allow the product to go on in a mousse-y like texture which sets to a powdery soft finish.

Light Brown With Pink Undertones

From the swatch, you can see it almost disappears into my skin tone, True to the description the formula is very soft and creamy.

I can see this and an every day colour and think its a really nice nude for me.

Moody

Cool-Toned Plum

At first, I wasn’t too sure about this one, even after putting it on I’m not still too sure. I think it’s due to my skin tone is more on the warm golden side I think cool tones don’t look good on me.

What I need to do and find the right look to go with this and then I probably will end up loving this colour. Side note, this one was more a little streaky than the others, but I do have a lip liner that will go with this colour very well.

Berry

This is how I feel when I’m wearing this beautiful colour, now they say its a berry but on me is a deep red which is my favourite colour ever.

By the smirk on my face, you can see I am feeling this colour, I love it, 10/10 I can’t praise this one enough you have to get it for yourself to see what I mean.

True Red

True to form this is a true red, bright and strong.

Even though i like this one I am more of a darker red girl, but I could keep this colour for the bedroom…

Now for my final verdict, though the formula goes on very nicely the round cushion-applicator does make it a little tricky if you have more angled lips.
Any slight dryness will be enhanced, so much sure your lips are smooth beforehand. I didn’t find the product drying but as it is a powder it does smudge so keep that in mind as well.
For me, they were worth waiting for NYX is an amazing affordable brand with huge payoff from there foundation to their lip gloss everything works for me so if you haven’t tried them yet I recommend you do so.
