How To Save A Weave

Now I have posted before on how to refresh your weave, from that dry hard almost dreadlock state.

But the hair I had then was more of a human synthetic blend hair, now I have a coloured 100% human hair and my old tricks didn’t work.
That left me stumped so I did two things went on google and I hit the shops.

What I learnt online is the boiling water trick.
So what I did was boil some water then set that aside, washed my hair with some John Frieda radiant red shampoo as my hair is red and black.
Towel dry my hair, brushed it out then added the radiant red conditioner.

Once I had covered my weave in conditioner I slowly dipped it in the boiling hot water. I did this a few times until I could see my hair get sleeker. Then I washed out any remaining product.

I let my hair sit in a towel for about 15 minutes, I brushed it out then applied TRESemmé Runway Duo Mist from the Get Sleek collection. Blow dried my hair on medium till it was about 50% dry then applied John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Serum then blow dried my hair on hot till it was fully dry.

That’s it my hair feels soft and smooth as its just fresh out of the packet.

Very quick post this week but as I didn’t know about the boiling water trick I thought I would share.
